(Homesick) For this week’s assignment, we had to take pictures to portray high school life. I will be honest and say this was one of the more difficult challenges. I had to find a scenario which seemed natural and vivid at the same time. I debated what would be a presentable image for days and my choices I believe showcase my own high school life. The first three images all relate to band and the friends I have made in the program. I couldn’t have all my pictures just be my friends so I went out to the field during class and I attempted to capture some of the lowerclassmen during their P.E class. The image of the boy taunting his opponents on the tennis court seemed funny and playful to me. The final image is the one that has the most meaning behind it since it shows that there is a sense of family no matter where you go.
