Marco Sanchez
I am a videographer/photographer residing in San Diego, California. I graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor's degree in Television & Film Production under their impacted TFM program.
I began my first photography class in high school in 2018 & soon after began practicing & developing my skills extensively in school & in real-world scenarios. In 2019, my brother, Diego Sanchez, & I founded an independent film studio named "Madmen Productions" to produce content while learning & improving our skills. I studied the art of film theory & film production at Southwestern College & San Diego City College between 2019 - 2022 & received my Associate with honors in Film, Television, & Media Arts. In my final year of Community College, I was hired on as an intern for my first graduate student film & as a production video intern for GreenSpeed Training Facility in July of 2021. After graduating from Southwestern College, I worked as a Technical Director for the 2022 Online Teaching Conference in Long Beach and continued to produce my own short films for Madmen Productions & Badluck Productions.
My love for creating films, storytelling, and cinema is what motivated me to pursue film as a lifestyle & career.
I specialize in Cinematography and Video Editing however I have experience in the entire production process.
Some of my favorite films include Spider-Man (2001), Drive (2011), Taxi Driver (1976), Porco Rosso (1992), and Princess Mononoke (1997)!
Madmen Productions
If there is one statement I always live by, it would be that each one of us has the power to greatly help others.
That's where the idea of Madmen Productions was born from. I founded this independent studio alongside my brother at the end of 2019. My goal with this studio was to help other creators similar to us in acting, production, post-production, & delivery, That involves providing equipment, assisting creators during filming, or acting in their films as main or secondary characters, I've always believed in giving others more than what we receive.
I hold Madmen Productions deep in my heart, I plan on officially forming this small team into a full professional studio in the future once our careers are more built up. I want to have the capacity to assist & provide smaller filmmakers with a gateway to show their films to bigger audiences.
As all things take time to create, we will continue to produce our own short films & passion projects. We use this group to practice & refine our skills while showing the world what we believe in & how stories define who we are.
